On March 1, 1781, the Articles of Confederation are finally ratified. Ratification came nearly four years after Congress had signed and sent the Articles of Confederation to the individual states for ratification. The delay was caused by Virginia and Maryland arguing over land claims.

On November 9, 1938, SA Paramilitary forces and non-Jewish civilians carried out coordinated attacks on Jews throughout Nazi Germany. The number of Jews murdered during the attacks vary greatly but it’s reported that over 30,000 were arrested and incarcerated in Nazi concentration camps. The attacks later known as Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass) ended on November 10, 1938.
